Helsinki Baroque Orchestra

  • MUSIIKKITALO, CONCERT HALL 13a Mannerheimintie Helsinki, Uusimaa, 00100 Finland (map)

In this concert, we return to a time when the Turku Musical Society had just been founded at the end of the previous century and Carl Ludvig Engel had designed his first major work for Turku in Finland – the Vartiovuori Astronomical Tower in 1819.

We are joined by Régence sonore, an ensemble of young Polish musicians. This concert is part of the EU-funded Sustainable-EEEmerging project from 2024-2027, of which Helsinki Baroque Orchestra is a participant.
